Message from the Founder
Hi, my name is Maylynn and I am a Canadian photographer based in Toronto. I am originally from Trinidad & Tobago but many people are just interested in knowing if I’m from China or Japan. Little did I know that this initial collision of race, ethnicity, media, and the negative stereotypes they so often come with, would shape my photographic journey and would take me into local schools and organizations on a mission.
I’m excited that I get to work closely with my two kids, Kaia and Wyatt. I also get to use photography and technology to connect kids, crossing all cultural and economic borders, to help build a more compassionate world for not only my children but for their friends and their new friends, as well.
